Ninderjit Gill is a tenured faculty member at North Seattle College, where she teaches in both the AAS and BAS Early Childhood Teacher Preparation programs. Ninderjit's focus is on preparing early learning professionals to support the developmental, cultural, and social-emotional needs of young children and engage in meaningful and impactful relationships with their families. In her previous role as Executive Director of the Washington Association for the Education of Young Children (WAEYC), she led efforts to strengthen the early childhood field through advocacy, professional development, and community engagement specifically addressing language justice and choice for early learning professionals.

She is dedicated to dismantling systemic barriers in early learning, advocating for policies and practices that uplift historically marginalized children and families.
